About the Founder
Brian Mattson
Viking Program Services LLC ("VPS") was formed by Brian Mattson, a Tech Executive with expertise across the business lines listed herein. Brian brings over 40 years of experience leading large-scale global engineering and construction portfolios in the semiconductor and data center industries.
Brian's experience in establishing VPS included:
- Successful career leading Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, and Project Controls organizations at Micron Technology, Intel, Microsoft, NTT, and Google.
- Founding and growing a successful startup Construction Company to ~$800M annually (1991-1996) in 5 years.
- Living abroad for years in Western China and leading all Semiconductor EPC activities across 12 countries in Asia.
- A Mechanical Consulting Engineer, delivering Industrial and advanced technology infrastructure designs for construction. Brian is a winner of the prestigious DOE National Award for Energy Innovation.
- Many of the people Brian has managed and mentored have gone on to achieve great things in their careers, including independent business successes.
